Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. John 15:4

Lord, help me to abide in you, to rest in you and to seek refuge in you, my Strong Tower. 


“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” John 14:1

Father God, help me to hand over my troubles because your yoke is easy and your burden is light.


Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! Psalm 47:1

Heavenly Father, I praise Your holy name! I adore you and give you all praise & honor!


‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for good and not for harm to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

Sovereign Lord, you alone command my destiny and you are in control; help me to let go and trust your good plans for me.


May he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen. Hebrews 13:21

Lord, please equip me to do your will. You qualify the called, and I want to say “yes” to you and your will for me.


Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13

Jesus, please create in me a grace-filled, forgiving heart, not one that holds grudges and allows bitter roots to grow.


But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Heavenly Father, when I’m weak you are strong; please work in and through my weaknesses so that Your power will rest on me.


Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

Father, even in trials and suffering, help me to remain faithful to prayer and hold tightly to hope.


Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. Revelation 3:20

Dear Jesus, I hear you knocking and I gladly open the door of my heart for you to enter!


You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12

Lord, please allow me to walk each day with a joyful and peaceful spirit so that I can better serve my family.


For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13

Father God, thank you for the gift of life and for giving me another day to love you and love others.


 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23

Heavenly Father, please help me to seek you, spend time with you and walk in your ways so that I will display these qualities in my life.


The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Almighty God, great is your faithfulness! Thank you that your mercies are new every morning and that you allow us to start fresh!


 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

Dear Lord, nothing at all can separate us from your love; this is so comforting and I praise you for loving me so much.


Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. Psalm 119:18

Father God, I know you correct those you love; please open my eyes to what you would have me to learn and let your truths saturate my heart.


I want you to know about the great and mighty power that God has for His followers. It is the same wonderful power He used when He raised Christ from death and let him sit at His right side in heaven. Ephesians 1:19-20

Powerful God, what power you’ve given those who love you; the same power that rose Christ from death; help me not to forget this truth.


 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. James 1:19

Lord Jesus, many times I do not display these qualities; Holy Spirit, help me to have self-control over my mouth and temper and let me be one that is quick to listen.


Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

Heavenly Father, let this be a time of renewal for me; renewal of my mind and my spirit; and help me not to conform to this world, but remain focused on things above.


The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:17

Father, thank you that you embrace my broken spirit and that you pour healing into the cracks of my heart.


Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Father God, many times I lean on my own understanding rather than yours. Please help me to trust you in all things, knowing that your plan is good, that you are faithful and your timing is perfect.


After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10

Dear Jesus, thank you for your promises; strengthen me today and keep me focused on heaven.


Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

Dear Lord, the race seems long some days. I pray for endurance to run this race you’ve set before me, keeping in mind that you endured the cross so that I could have life eternal.


But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life. John 4:14

Faithful God, I thirst for you… my heart longs for more than this world can give. Help me to always long for you, seek you and know you more deeply.

Creation and creatures applaud you, God; your holy people bless you.

They talk about the glories of your rule, they exclaim over your splendor. Psalm 145:10-11

Lord God, I praise your holy name! Thank you for your many blessings in my life! You are faithful to hear my prayers and answer them. 


As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? Psalm 42:1-2

Lord, without you I’m lost in a dark and hurting world. My soul does long for you; Lord, please keep me near to you, drawing me close in the shelter of your wings.


Stay excited about your faith as you serve the Lord. Romans 12:11

Lord Jesus, I want to be on fire for you always! Even in the face of rejection, persecution or discomfort, strengthen me to serve you faithfully and with zeal!
